James was the son of John Henry and Fanelia(sp?) (Griswold - sp?) Broas and grandson of Josiah and Sarah/Sally Freer/Frear Broas. Rebecca was the daughter of Abraham Wood and Isabella Sharp and granddaughter of George and Margaret (Tedter) Sharp.
